James A. Soriano, MD, FAFN, FPCS

Dr. James Soriano obtained his Medical Degree in 1983, at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine in Manila. He then proceeded to specialize in Neurosurgery at the Philippine General Hospital, also located in Manila. Shortly after finishing his specialty training, he transferred residence from Manila to Davao City where he set up his neurosurgical practice in 1990 at the Davao Doctors Hospital.

Throughout his 30 year neurosurgical practice, Dr. Soriano has treated a wide spectrum of diseases involving the spine and spinal cord: spinal cord tumors, spinal degenerative diseases, congenital spinal conditions, spinal cord trauma, infection, and other conditions of the spine. His special interest is tumors involving the spine.

Dr. Soriano is a Fellow of the Academy of Filipino Neurosurgeons and also a Fellow of the Philippine College of Surgeons.
